For my first year in A-level textile, I chose Art Deco. I chose
this because I wanted to experiment with shapes to make an interesting pattern
as well as using elegant colours to make a new colour scheme. These mood boards
are what I get my inspiration from for when I am designing. In order to get a
great amount of variety, I wanted to find the theme through the vast interpretations
from buildings to dresses. Because Art Deco is still a popular them starting
from the 1920’s, I wanted to have the balance of vintage and modern.
